Youth
Arise Ministry (YAM) is a Youth Charismatic Ministry
in OLPS, Singapore. We welcome you to join our sessions
every Satuday night, 7:30pm - 10:00pm at the St.
John-Luke Room (OLPS Level 2)!
Revival Seminar is a stay-in retreat following the format
of a Life In The Spirit Seminar (LISS), first conducted
by Youth Arise Ministry (YAM) in the year 2000. We chose
the name "Revival" as the retreat is meant to
revive/rejuvenate a person spiritually and "Seminar"
to indicate that the reason we come together is to learn
something, as opposed to a recreational camp.
After a three-year hiatus, we felt it is time to bring this retreat back as a means to outreach to more young people of the parish and those within our circle of influence, as well as to bond and recharge our own members.
Objectives:
To rejuvenate YAM members spiritually.
To invite our friends & family members to a deeper relationship with God through a personal encounter with the Holy Trinity.
To reach out to Con 3 teens who desire to know God
more, as a follow up to the "God Experience Session"
at the recent confirmation retreat.
Theme:
"Seek Ye First" is based on Matthew
6:33 which says, "Seek ye first the Kingdom
of God and all its righteousness, and all these things
shall be added unto you." It is a call to
young people to come to know God more and put Him as first
in their lives.
